NVW (But I Feel Wrong)

Nothing’s visibly wrong but I feel wrong

Today I was driven to the city and I unraveled a little bit

I take it one day at a time

My mom standing next to me, saying "son, you can stand or you can sit"
I just can’t help but get out of line

Nothing’s visibly wrong but I feel wrong

The buildings shoot so high, and my conscious shoots so low

I remember when I could dream a little bit

Now I’m stammering, hammering, stuttering, muttering

Hitting myself in the head

‘Cause there’s something here that’s causing me to fit

Nothing’s visibly wrong but I feel wrong

And the story seems so right, and the story seems so wrong,

And the meta’s surely scraping at the now

Can I put it in a ball ever so slightly, light the torch and slam the door?

Can somebody body body body teach me how?

But even with the best of it, I would still be just like this

In this city street in the middle of the day

‘Cause I can wrap it up and cloth, play games my entire life

But the truth is that I’ll always be this way
